One solution being worked on in this challenge is to measure air quality using special sensors anchored to a robot dog called SPOT. This can be given a pre-determined route from which to gather information, or it can be manually controlled, meaning that the operator can simultaneously monitor the data online.
The challenge is now in its first phase.
