Marketing Hackathon 2024

Marketing Hackathon 2024 was successfully held in TechTower Technology Park. This year’s event attracted almost 40 participants who listened to assignments from nine companies and then worked on assigned marketing projects. Participants split into seven teams and began working on their topics, with most teams continuing through the night hours.

The assignments were provided by the companies: ToyBoy, CrossCafe, Reshl & Kamas, VR Training, Techmania Science Center, Uhumdrum & Floweil, Lentil, BagMaster and ICE Factory.

Mentors of this year’s hackathon were experienced marketers Lenka Stawarczyk, Simon Podehradský, Matyáš Vejskal, Miloš Zlesa and Michal Skyva. In addition to mentoring, they prepared inspiring lectures focused on marketing strategies and trends.

Competition results:

  • 3rd place: the team that created the Christmas campaign for Čočkýna
  • 2nd place: the team that designed the logo, visual identity and website for ToyBoy
  • 1st place: The team that created a strategy to attract visitors to the new Mars exhibit at Techmania

The project presentations were judged by a panel of experts consisting of Ondřej Rudolf, Dominik Beer and Petr Zápotocký. The event was held as part of the AI Days.

Both events were part of the activities of the Pilsen Innovation Ecosystem (PINE), which has long supported the development of innovation, connecting talented students with practice and helping to develop the skills of young people.
