DIGITAL BREAKDOWN

When the city comes to a halt – and you get it moving again.

Can you come up with an innovative solution to a crisis situation in just 24 hours, when the city faces a breakdown of key systems? Take on the challenge, engage in teamwork, and show that technology can help even in the toughest moments.

💡 A financial reward of 2,000 EUR is at stake for the winning team.

This year's edition is created in collaboration with the SPARROW project, which brings experiences from real crisis situations, technological simulations, and strategic mobility management.

INTRODUCTION

You will have 24 hours of intensive work, collaboration, and seeking innovative solutions.
On this page, you will find all the important information for the course of the hackathon.
If you are missing anything, do not hesitate to reach out to the organizing team.

WI-FI AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Wi-Fi connection:

Equipment:

·         Work on your own laptop

·         Presentations are submitted via Google Drive (link see above)

Overnight stay at TechTower:

·         Possibility of staying overnight or working all night on-site

·         Bring a sleeping bag and a mat

·         Showers are available

Transportation:

·         We recommend public transport – tram (stop Brojova, about 5 minutes on foot)

·         Parking is available at the designated parking lot

Friday February 13

·         10:00 Start

·         10:15 Introduction of partners and topics + presentation of the SPARROW project

·         11:30 Topic selection and team division

·         12:00 Selection of workstations and familiarization with the topic

·         13:00 Lunch

·         14:00 Lecture DIANA at SeedUP Cafe (optional)

·         18:00 Dinner

·         20:00 Ongoing team reviews

·         22:00 Second dinner (pizza – preparation about 5 minutes)

Saturday February 14

·         9:00 Breakfast

·         10:00 Ongoing team reviews

·         12:00 Lunch (hall / buffet)

·         13:30 Start of judging by the technical jury

·         15:15 Submission of work + preparation for presentations

·         16:00 Final presentations of the TOP 6 teams

·         17:30 Announcement of winners

·         18:00 End of the event

Friday

·         Lunch: fried cheese, potatoes

·         Dinner: risotto with chicken

·         Second dinner: pizza (preparation in the buffet upon request)

Saturday

·         Lunch: chicken / vegetarian wrap

THE BUFFET IS OPEN FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE EVENT
