Mobility Hackathon: 75 Students, 50,000 CZK, and Innovations in Transportation

The very first Mobility Hackathon at TechTower took place on February 14–15, 2025, bringing forward a series of innovative solutions for the future of mobility. The competition featured students from Pilsen and Prague, as well as representatives from the University of West Bohemia (ZČU) and the Czech Technical University (ČVUT).

The main partner of the event was Škoda Auto a.s., which brought two vehicles to the hackathon and made them available to participants for testing and development.

The event was co-organised by OICT (Operator ICT), which focuses on digital innovation in the field of transport and smart cities.

High Interest and an Amazing Competitive Atmosphere

The demand for participation was immense, leading us to increase capacity multiple times until we reached a final count of 75 participants. During two intensive days, they worked on their ideas that have the potential to improve mobility in cities and beyond.

A total prize pool of 50,000 CZK was at stake, and an expert jury awarded four outstanding teams:
