The second edition of the Legends of SIT Port esports tournament is over!

The second edition of the Legends of SIT Port tournament took place in an exciting and great atmosphere!

40 teams from different parts of the Czech Republic, divided into eight groups, entered the competition. The total prize pool of 45 000 CZK was donated by the main sponsor of the tournament, Eurosoftware.

The tournament started in October with an online group phase, from which the top two teams in each group advanced. Then came the elimination part, which brought a good dose of adrenaline. In the semi-finals, the top four teams were decided and competed on the final day at TechTower in Pilsen. Teams Dance Princesses, Mighty Eagles, Priority and GLORE.FIFINE Gold arrived for the grand finale.

Thrilling matches and great fun on the final day

The semi-final matches determined the finalists – teams Priority and GLORE.FIFINE Gold. The teams Dancing Princesses and Mighty Eagles faced off for third place. This match started at 11:30am and the Mighty Eagles handled their opponents in a flash, winning 3-0 on the scoreboard.

Between the bronze medal match and the final, the gaming zone was full of attractions. They could try out the racing simulator from 301 simulators, play games on the PlayStation 5, take photos with cosplayers or take part in a competition in the popular Beat Saber game prepared by the main sponsor Eurosoftware.

The grand finale: GLORE.FIFINE Gold celebrates victory!

The final match started at 17:30 and brought an incredible spectacle. The first two matches were dominated by GLORE.FIFINE Gold, who quickly built up a 2-0 lead in the match. However, the Priority team did not give up – they fought back in the third game and reduced the score to 2:1.

The fourth match brought drama until the last moment. Priority were just a step away from equalizing, but GLORE.FIFINE Gold put in a great performance at the end of the match, turning the game around and becoming the tournament winners, taking home the top prize of 20,000 CZK.
